Socrates Midas holds an A2 B2 contractor classification from the Ministry of Roads and Highways and a B1 K1 classification from the Ministry of Works and Housing. Franklyn Doe Johnny
Managing Director / Founder
Franklyn Doe Johnny is the visionary founder of Socrates Midas, bringing exceptional expertise in administering complex infrastructure projects. With a Bachelor’s degree in Management Science from the University of Nottingham and a Master’s degree in Construction Economics and Management from University College London (UCL), he specializes in infrastructure project management in developing countries. Franklyn has provided consultancy services to leading organizations including China Communications Company Limited and China Roads and Bridges Corporation. His impressive portfolio includes serving on the planning team for the $300 million Kwame Nkrumah Circle Interchange project and the $1 billion Sinopec China Gas Processing Plant at Atuabo. Known for his exceptional organizational and time management skills, Franklyn consistently enhances project efficiency while ensuring all deliverables meet stringent quality, schedule, cost, and safety standards.
John Sowah
Production Manager / Civil Engineer
John Sowah is a highly disciplined civil engineer with a strong command of information technology applications in engineering. As Production Manager, he provides strategic oversight for the design and execution of all Socrates Midas projects, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery. John plays a pivotal role in assessing project feasibility by continuously evaluating structural integrity and design practicality. His focus on fostering cohesion and efficiency drives the successful completion of complex civil engineering initiatives. With strategic guidance to project managers, John ensures every project is executed with precision and alignment with organizational goals, making him an invaluable asset to the leadership team.
Andrew Quarshie
Planning Manager / Quantity Surveyor
Andrew Quarshie is an accomplished Planning Manager and Quantity Surveyor with proven expertise in managing costs and stakeholders across multiple projects simultaneously. He holds a degree in Quantity Surveying and Construction Economics from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and brings valuable experience from prominent firms including Reggimanuel Grey Estates and Pro Design. Andrew contributed as a production technician on the prestigious $300 million Kwame Nkrumah Circle Interchange Project. In his role at Socrates Midas, he focuses on minimizing project costs and risks while maximizing value for money, ensuring strict adherence to legal and safety standards. Andrew’s meticulous approach to project estimates, budgets, and contract documentation ensures profitability and project success.
